General Terms and Conditions


1. General

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to every (offer for) sale of products ("Products") by DLFN, located at Parkstraat 35, 3070 Kortenberg registered under company number 0828.871.532 ("We" or "Seller"), to the consumer ("Customer" or "You"), regardless of the method by which the order ("Order") is placed.

1.2 By placing an Order, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted the Terms without reservation. The Terms are always available on our website and can be stored on a durable medium.

1.3 If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain fully enforceable.

1.4 These Terms apply exclusively to consumers. Different terms apply to business customers, available upon request.


2. Offers and Orders

2.1 All information, images, specifications, and prices regarding Products are for informational purposes only and are not binding. While we aim for accuracy, slight variations in color, size, or details may occur.

2.2 We reserve the right to change our product range and prices at any time. Price changes after an Order confirmation will not affect the confirmed Order.

2.3 You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of placing an Order. Orders are finalized as follows: add Products to the shopping cart, provide contact and payment details, select a delivery method, and confirm the Terms and Privacy Policy. After payment is completed, you will receive an Order confirmation ("Order Confirmation").

2.4 An Order is only considered final once you have received the Order Confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel Orders in cases of suspected fraud, technical errors, or unforeseen circumstances.


3. Prices and Payment

3.1 All prices are in euros (EUR) and include Belgian VAT. Shipping costs are displayed separately during checkout.

3.2 Payment must be made immediately when placing the Order using the payment methods provided. If payment is not accepted, the Order will be canceled.

3.3 We reserve the right to correct or cancel Orders in cases of pricing errors. Any payments made will be refunded in such cases.


4. Delivery and Risk

4.1 We deliver only to countries specified on our website. Delivery timelines provided during the checkout process are indicative.

4.2 Deliveries are carried out by external carriers. The risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer upon delivery.

4.3 Incorrect delivery addresses provided by the Customer may result in additional charges.

4.4 If an Order cannot be delivered due to the absence of the Customer, the carrier may attempt redelivery or return the package to us. Additional charges may apply.


5. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

5.1 You have the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement within 14 calendar days of receiving the Products. Written notice must be sent to getintouchDLFN@gmail.com

5.2 Returned Products must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging, including accessories and labels, within 14 calendar days after notifying us of your withdrawal. Return shipping costs are the Customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

5.3 Products made to your specifications, personalized items, or sale items are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

5.4 Refunds for returned Products will be processed within 14 days of receipt and inspection via the original payment method.


6. Warranty and Complaints

6.1 We guarantee that our Products meet the specifications stated on our website. For defects or complaints, contact us at getintouchDLFN@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.

6.2 A statutory 2-year warranty applies to hidden defects if the Customer can provide proof of purchase and the complaint is reported in a timely manner. Damages caused by misuse or external factors are excluded from warranty coverage.


7. Liability

7.1 Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant Order. We are not liable for indirect damages, such as lost profits or data loss.

7.2 We are not responsible for disruptions to website availability or damages caused by external factors, such as hackers, viruses, or force majeure.


8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is protected by intellectual property rights and may not be copied, distributed, or used without our explicit written consent.


9. Force Majeure

9.1 We are not liable for delays or failure to meet obligations due to force majeure, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or transport disruptions beyond our control.


10. Data Protection

10.1 We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. Your data is used solely to process your Order and related communication.


11. Disputes and Governing Law

11.1 All agreements are governed exclusively by Belgian law. In the event of disputes, only the courts of Leuven have jurisdiction.
